Casarialto x Summerill&Bishop, the 2nd Project

Casarialto and Summerill&Bishop present Ali in Volo, the brand new Line in co branding with an Hand Made Glass Bowl, a Fruit Platter and Set of Napkin Ring.

After the first collaboration started in 2023 with the creation of the Iris and Lotus candleholders, Casarialto and Summerill&Bishop join forces again to launch a new poetic and timeless collection, in which tradition and innovation coexist and give each other mutual value.

The Star of Ali in Volo is the Dragonfly, revered in Japan and considered a true example of balance. Furthermore, this insect brings an important lesson for everyday life: the need to live every day to the fullest. Like the dragonfly, which transforms from a nymph in water by developing wings that will take it on endless journeys, us too should also leave our comfort zone and explore new worlds. At the same time, in a chaotic and fast-paced world, it is important to seek tranquility in one’s daily life and in one’s own spaces, trying to recreate an oasis of peace in our home.

Following this spirit, Ali in Volo by Casarialto x Summerill&Bishop was born. Meticulously crafted pieces that showcase the skill and elegance of Italian glass manufacturing. Born from an idea by Summerill&Bishop and brought to life by Catherine Urban, founder and artistic director of the brand, Ali in Volo is a hymn to refinement and delicacy. Colored glass dragonflies fly in perfect balance, settling on napkin rings, on the edges of bowls and stands, in a harmonious fusion of art and craftsmanship.
Each product is a unique piece, the result of freehand creation by Venetian artisans, and is entirely made in Italy

The collection Ali in Volo consists of three new products.

Set of 6 transparent glass napkin rings, with colored dragonfly applied on the surface in 3 colours: deep blue, burgundy and pink, green and sorbet yellow.

Bowl in transparent striped glass, with a colored dragonfly placed on the edge, available in 3 variants: deep blue, burgundy and pink, green and sorbet yellow. Dimensions – diam. 12cm x h 10cm

Fruit Platter in transparent striped glass, with three colored dragonflies placed on the edge made in deep blue, burgundy and pink, or green and sorbet yellow. Dimensions – diam. 22 cm x h 20 cm x 4 cm depth plate.
